Working With Visit Virginia has literally been a dream come true!

You read the title right but I’m just going to go about saying it again… Working with VTC/Virginia Tourism Corp aka Visit Virginia aka Virginia Is For Lovers is literally a dream come true fam!

For starters I am a Virginia native through and through, like basically all my life … except for that one time I was born in Germany 👀 [military kid] oh aaand that one time we gave NC a chance. Don’t get me wrong, Moyock is beautiful but bruh, Va is for me.

I remember it all started with a couple DMs from them asking to share some of my food photos on their blogs. Back then I’d literally say to myself,

“Man, I’d love to work directly with Visit Virginia on something!”

Then one day things got pretty serious when they asked me to take the fam on a trip to explore the Eastern Shore 🙌🏾. Like, you want me to take my family on a vacation to a part of Virginia that is new to us simply so we can explore and showcase it to my following?! Well since you pulled my arm, I guess we’ll go 😂

That was an amazing trip and and even better experience as a content creator. To have the opportunity to go on a trip like that PLUS be able to bring the fam with me?! You see what I mean about a dream come true?

But wait there is more! Yup, we went on another! This time we got to do some hopping around with stops in Danville, FarmVille & Clarksville 🙌🏾 and we got to bring some homies with us! Once again, these were cities I have never been to before but immediately found out that they are all amazingly beautiful gems of Virginia in their own right.

Maybe even beautiful downtown areas packed with eclectic stores and restaurants INSIDE amazing original structures? If you said yes to any of those, you are in luck because Virginia has it all and more.

The wildest part to me is, as I mentioned I have lived here all my life and still have yet to fully scratch the surface 🙌🏾
