Hey Guys, Lets Make Marinated Shiitake Mushroom Lettuce Wraps with The Neighborhood Harvest!

So a few weeks back [Yea, weeks šŸ˜…, sorry for the delay]

I teamed up with good people over at The Neighborhood Harvest šŸ„¬and itā€™s been a pretty dope experience, to say the least.

For example, if you donā€™t feel like getting off the couch to hit the grocery store, NO PROBLEM šŸ˜€, you can literally grocery shop from the comforts of your home right on your phone šŸ“²

Iā€™m talking just about everything too! From the fresh hydroponically grown vegetablesšŸ„’šŸ„¦šŸ… to the grass-fed proteinsšŸ„©.

I got my first haul a little bit ago and thought itā€™d be fun to try and work up something with my first batch of ingredients... thus we have these shiitake mushroomšŸ„ lettuce wraps!! The only thing is we were visiting my parents so I was at the mercy I could find as I rummaged through the pantries and cabinets.


Whatā€™s all in it? Marinated and sautĆ©ed Shiitake mushroomsšŸ„ in a bold @slowdivenfk hot sauce/Worcestershire marinade topped with chimichurri, quickies, and a tomatošŸ…, avocadošŸ„‘ salad all on ... while the flavors pairings are ā€œmuy interesanteā€ I think they went nicely togetheršŸ‘ŒšŸ¾.

All things considered, I donā€™t think I did half bad! Iā€™d definitely make these bad boys again but maybe with some adjustments Like maybe adding some white onion in with the mushrooms. Or boil up some rice for Buddha Bowls with chopped green onion and crunchy tortilla strips.

I love being able to get in the lab and play with my food from time to time and thatā€™s just what I did here!
